Broken Flowers (Jarmusch 2005)
Fuck you Jim Jarmusch. I want my money back. This movie is long, boring, meaningless, contentless, emotionless, shotless, prideless. It doesn't even deserve that sentence.
These are most of the movies that I, Larry Fouch, have seen since 4 May 2005.

I think you missed the point of this film entirely. It is not meaningless by any means. This is a very sophisticated film. I just saw Broken Flowers last night and I think it is, a Jim Jarmusch film. You do not get frying panned over the head with exposition. The subtleties are all there. This is about a man looking back at his life and seeing nothing but human wreckage and the future doesn't look any better. The only thing I can say after some critics gave Jarmusch a beating in the press, saying he finally sold out with this film, is they missed the point just as much as you have. Have you seen other films of his?
William,
I've seen all of Jarmusch's films--Dead Man is my favorite. I think he works better in an off-beat as opposed to humanist vein; I just don't think the characters in this film had the resonance or depth the story required.
